Strength & Mobility:

Bodyweight Strength + Mobility: This class is an ass kicker in disguise: it’ll build your strength and mobility — usable flexibility — using your own bodyweight through a variety of fun, challenging movements. Expect to be humble, to learn new movements, to love it and to be sore the next day. Lots of attention to detail = awesome injury rehab, or prehab for athletes of all sorts. No experience necessary.

*** Challenge / Guarantee: Take this class at least four weeks in a row and you’ll be a stronger, more flexible, better mover. Guaranteed. (If you’re not, Liam or Nicole will give you a foot rub.)

Flexibility Class:

A mat based class designed to increase flexibility the way your body intended. Learn how to safely flatten or improve your splits, deepen back bends and open shoulders. Flexibility reduces the risk for injury and broadens range of motion.

HotCore

HotCore, by Buti, is a 30 minute class designed to engage the deep muscles of the core. Students practice in socks to facilitate fluid “drag” or friction creating resistance. In between sets, students move to restorative yoga asanas to stretch and lengthen. This class is the prefect addition to your Yoga or Aerial practice.Bring Socks and water. No mat necessary.

Pole Fitness

At MASC we honor pole as an aerial apparatus. We prioritize its foundation of gymnastics, athleticism, and creative art.

Whether you’re joining the fast-growing world of pole for the first time, or a seasoned practitioner, this is the class for you! In this class, you’ll focus on learning new and engaging combos (2 or more pole moves combined) as well as getting in your weekly conditioning session. For first timers, you’ll learn basic techniques for getting comfortable on the pole such as walking around the pole and beginner spins. Remember to wear shorts!

This class provides the conditioning and technique required for our Specialty Pole Series and Workshops. Depending on your level, the instructor provides you appropriate exercises.

Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga uses a looped fabric (hammock) that swivels freely on a single point. Suspended at seat height, the hammock is a prop, intended to assist alignment, and provide accessibility. This class has a therapeutic approach to deepen awareness and relaxation, and gain immediate benefits such as spinal decompression, pain relief, and ease in inversions and other challenging poses/asana. Appropriate for all levels. Ages 12 and up
